Stage 1
Newtown to Loftus Oval 24km – approx 30 minutes

Turn left into King Street and continue along the Princes Highway – following signs to Wollongong.
Loftus Oval is on your left immediately after a railway level crossing.

We should be here between 930 and 945am

Stage 2
Loftus Oval to Jamberoo (Coffee stop) 84km

From Loftus Oval continue south along the Princes Highway (we’re not going into the National Park)

At Waterfall (13km) exit right onto the Old Princes Highway (Route 60).

Continue along the Old Princes Highway, along Mt Ousely Road and the freeway through Wollongong
At km 70 look for a right turn to Moss Vale – exit right and turn right at the roundabout. Continue past Wollongong Airport through Albion Park to Jamberoo where we’ll stop for coffee.

Stage 3
Jamberoo to Kangaroo Valley (Lunch) 56km

Head back towards Wollongong for 1km and turn left towards Robertson

Continue up Jamberoo Mountain Pass until you reach a t-junction opposite the Robertson Pie Shop – turn left (km 21)

Continue through Robertson and turn left of Persons Road (there’s a small sign pointing to Fitzroy Falls (km 25)

Pearsons Road turns right at km 30

Then turn left at a t-junction which will be signposted Kangaroo Valley (km 37)

Continue to Kangaroo Valley – we’ll stop a the pub for lunch

We’ll discuss the return journey at Kangaroo Valley – we’ll probably head to Kiama for coffee on the way back
